My favorite search engine

As an assignment for my community-college class, I'm writing about my favorite search engine.

I say "favorite" in the loosest sense of the word, since that implies a strong feeling and the only strong feeling I have about search engines is that I expect them to turn up results. 

I use Google search, basically because it is the default search engine for my browser at home and at work when I click in the search window. I do like that it offers a choice between text, images and maps, since I toggle between the latter two at work.
